The election may be over, but the question remains: what is Donald Trump hiding in his tax returns?
Activists across the country will be rallying on Tax Day, calling on Donald Trump to act transparently and release his tax returns.
This march isn’t just about papers–it’s about economic justice.
It’s also about whether Donald Trump and the rest of the superrich are paying their fair share.
It’s about how beholden our government-& our president in particular-are beholden to corporate interests & the superrich.
Most importantly, it’s about how the superrich & corporations get more influence than We The People–especially people of color, women, immigrants, the queer/lgbt-identified, and workers.
So join us at Thomas Paine Plaza to stand up to unprecedented corporate greed in the White House. To quote the Denver march: we are the 1099 percent.
